Bluestone Estate is a picturesque estate with a large, air conditioned and heated venue for events, beautiful pond, natural springs, historic manor circa 1770, grounds enclosure with white picket fence, gazebo, and natural wooded areas, landscaped lawns, and flower beds that are perfect for photographs.
What is included in our Bluestone Estate wedding event?
The Grand Hall for your event.
Ground floor indoor and outdoor cocktail areas.
Sprawling lawn next to the pond.
Large outdoor patio areas.
Gorgeous bridal suite and spacious groom’s lounge.
Caterer’s prep area with stainless steel work tables.
Exclusive use of acres of scenic land for ceremony and photography during your event.

Golf cart to accommodate the mobility needs of guests.
Access to the event space for your setup and rehearsal hour.

Year-round assistance for inquiries and site visits.
Also included are:
White resin ceremony chairs, 10 cocktail tables, 60″ round reception tables, mahogany Chiavari chairs for reception, sweetheart table, 4 rectangular tables, 6 outdoor bistro sets, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, an arbor, plus 2 additional TVs, and speakers in the cocktail room.
Do you offer catering or alcohol?
We do not prepare food at the estate, however, you will need to choose from our list of preferred off-premise vendors (listed at the next question on this page) to provide your catering and alcohol at the event.

Bluestone Estate has a list of preferred caterers we are happy to share with couples who are interested in booking their wedding. The caterers on our list are skilled at creating successful events on our property.

Do you require that we use a wedding planner?
Bluestone Estate does require the use of one of our experienced Wedding Coordinators. Each of our coordinators is familiar with the venue and will ensure that your special day is effortless. Required wedding coordinators are available upon request.
Do we need to rent tables and chairs?
The venue capacity is 260 guests. Bluestone Estate will provide our round tables that seat eight and chairs for use at both the ceremony and reception. You may rent alternate tables and seating based on your wedding style if you so choose.
Where can we have the marriage ceremony?
There are several options for your wedding ceremony:
Ceremony lawn area near the pond
In the same main Grand Hall of the Barn as the reception
The Cocktail Hall in the ground floor of the barn
The large Patio Courtyard adjacent to the barn, overlooking the grounds and pond
Classic ceremonies in local churches including Catholic, Evangelical, Baptist, and Lutheran
Is Bluestone Estate a good locale for a destination wedding?

Are accommodations provided for overnight travelers?
Although we do not currently offer overnight accommodations at Bluestone Estate, there are many nearby hotels to address your needs.

Is there parking on-site for guests?
Yes, we offer parking on-site for vehicles. Double Tree Resort by Hilton Hotels, Lancaster, PA, offers shuttle service to and from Bluestone Estate for you and your guests who have accommodations at the hotel, for an additional fee.

We had our reception at Bluestone. Erin was an absolute joy to work with. She was flexible and was there for anything we needed. They took such great care of us, it felt almost as if they were a part of our family. Customer Service is their middle name. They have breathtaking architecture and landscaping; we were able to get all of our photos done on the property.
This was so convenient for us, as we wanted to join our guests at cocktail hour, and we were able to simply walk on over after photos! Easily the best venue in the Lancaster, PA area, in every sense. Thank you, Erin and team, for allowing us to host our special day in your space.
